Policy on Regular Membership Category for SATA
Regular members would include:
All individuals in the footwear and related products industry who sell footwear and related products at wholesale to the retail channel of distribution. These individuals for the most part interact with owners/buyers in the retail channel and are involved to various levels in planning purchases, selection of product, writing of orders, developing and implementing marketing and advertising plans and overall servicing of the retailers’ needs. They can be persons employed full or part-time as sales representatives, sales managers and other classifications of employees whose responsibility, either in whole or in part, is to sell footwear and related goods to retailers owners of companies that sell footwear to retailers and who in their positions also work directly with retailers independent sales representatives, whether full or part-time that contract with companies to sell footwear and related products to retailers
Dues: The annual dues for a regular member, set by the Board of Directors, are $50 per calendar year (January 1 - December 31). Benefits of Regular Membership Regular members shall have the right to vote on all matters subject to the votes of members of the corporation. To use all of the services and benefits and programs developed for the regular members of the corporation to serve as directors of the corporation Effective Date of Membership The effective date of membership is the date the payment is cleared and the application has been processed (included in database).
