Wolverine World Wide searching for a Sales Representative for its Bates Uniform Footwear Division. The territory will include Arkansas, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
Bates is one of the largest and oldest uniform footwear companies in the world. Bates manufactures and markets more than 1.5 million pair of uniform boots and shoes yearly. Since 1887, the Bates brand has outfitted military and law enforcement personnel with premium dress and tactical footgear. Bates boots and shoes are worn by military personnel in nearly forty countries around the world.
- Develop new accounts and build new relationships with retailers in the specified territory.
- Provide sales support and service for existing retail and military accounts within the territory.
- Represent the product line at various footwear shows.
- Sells a balanced program to have all segments of the line represented in the territory.
- Prospect for new accounts using networking and cold calling.
- Understands and demonstrates the different components and applications of footwear including manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies
- Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.
Additional Comments:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field or equivalent skills, knowledge and ability.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout designated territory.
- Three to five years of sales experience.
- Experience in footwear sales is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attend out of state trade shows and sales meetings.
- Good retail math skills.

I have a catalog and a patent pending on the product. I own the business myself, I am looking for a company with strong sales efforts.
