What Do You Think?

June 5th, 2007

More and more reps are telling WSTA that they are calling on apparel stores, and business from these stores is becoming a key part of their business. Do you think footwear in apparel stores is growing rapidly, will become a meaningful part of the industry, and a bigger piece of a rep’s business?

Travelers

October 25th, 2006

Every Traveler, regardless of the destination should be vaccinated against tetanus and hepatitis A, according to the “Bottom Line” news.  Hepatitis is found in food and water even in the U.S.A.  If you haven’t been vaccinated in 5 years then it’s time.  Also if you are traveling to foreign countries you need vaccines for that area.  Check with your Doctor on the current vaccines.

Bottomline

July 27th, 2006

From time to time I get “bottomline” in the mail or online.  When there is pertinent information that I think effects travelers I’ll add some news.

GREAT DEALS for year-end 2006 cars, especially the SUVs, which have suffered as gas prices have risen.  Expert Eric Peters, from Washington D.C. comments:  $5500 cash back from GM with financing as low as 0%.  $4000 cash back from Ford and freee gas through 2007.  Chrysler is offering the same as Ford.

Board Members: What do you think of this new forum?

July 13th, 2006

Dear Board of Directors,

Please respond to this entry with any comments, questions, suggestions about this site. Like I said in the email, we’re planning on putting this under News & Information on the WSTA website. We discussed at the Exec Meeting about a month ago having some kind of way for members to discuss matters between themselves. I think this site is what we were looking for. Members can post any topic they’d like, but of course it filters through me. When a member posts a topic, I have to approve it before it’s posted, however, comments are not filtered through me. They are automatically posted (this can be changed if you’d like).

Once you comment on this entry, we can take your login information and make it so you all have administrative capabilities, so you can post a topic without approval from me. So I’ll be looking out for your responses.

Thank you very much,

Joel
